The Galaxy Portal - Three launches Samsung's second Android handset

Samsung has launched their latest mobile operating under Google's Android operating system in the UK, namely the Galaxy Portal, which is now available from Three. The handset comes with Android 1.5 installed.

Those of you who may not have seen or encountered the mobile up until now might want to know that it comes with a body 13.2mm wide, that in boasts a 3.2 inch touchscreen display and includes a huge deal of connectivity options. With these capabilities, we can count the attendance of Quad-band GSM, HSDPA options, as well as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Portal sports a built-in GPS receiver, comes with 180MB of internal memory, but comes with a Micro SD memory card slot for additional storage space of 1 GB is also included in the box. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack is also included. The media player offers video support for MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, and DivX.

The Samsung Galaxy Portal has a fairly decent camera with 3.2 MegaPixels, good battery life (up to five hours of talk time), aswell as other great features.
